Often youth stop regular interaction with the church or a pastor after their confirmation service. This is experienced not only in Germany, but also in many South African congregations.

Why is this so? How should church change in order to counteract this tendency? Or should we just accept this as being part of the normal development of a child on the way to becoming an adult?
