When every child counts ...

“Today I know that behind every smiling child there may be a story that touches us deeply. And I know that my project brings hope every day, one child at a time. I am infinitely grateful to be able to be part of this special project.”

This conclusion, contained in a newsletter from a volunteer sent out by the ELM, really moved me.

At this time of year, a number of young people are once again travelling to projects in the countries where our partner churches are based. We hope that they, too, will have such moving experiences.

PLEASE SUPPORT US WITH YOUR DONATION to the volunteer programme, so that we can prepare young people well for this kind of service, support them throughout their time here, and accompany them through both the joyful and challenging experiences, as well as upon their return.

I send you my warmest regards and thank you for your donations and prayers – both for the young people and for the many dedicated staff and people in the partner churches and here at the ELM.
