Thank you for your first donations!

Tens of thousands of people still need support. This is also coming from Brazil itself. The church's fundraising campaign had already raised a total of around 322,000 euros by June 3rd alone.

Around 142,000 euros from the Church in Brazil fundraising campaign have already been passed on to particularly affected parishes for support.

Thanks to donations and strong support from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover (20,000 euros), the ELM has already transferred 30,000 euros to Brazil for emergency aid. The partner church (IECLB) is thus making funds available to congregations so that they can buy relief supplies locally and organise their distribution to people in need as a result of the floods.

In the meantime, the ELM has received further support from the Evangelical Church of Kurhessen-Waldeck (10,000 euros), which will soon be passed on to Brazil with further donations.
