Jesus, you are coming, we trust in that. Help us not to give up hope in your coming. The world is fragile - you make it whole.
The three holy kings in the picture live in Istok (near Irkutsk in Siberia), a social settlement with assisted living for people with disabilities. You can see that they have not given up hope, but are confidently, curiously and almost a little mischievously waiting for Jesus to come to them.
The partner church in Siberia looks after people with disabilities, whom the staff affectionately call special people. Every year, they organise a nativity play and learn the Christmas story. With home-baked biscuits, candles and handicrafts, the anticipation of the coming of God incarnate becomes real.
