Brazil: Inspiring children with music

Music and Christian education belong together. The Lutheran Church in Brazil is therefore producing material that co-workers can use to organise quality work with children.

Volunteers and children from different parts of Brazil are involved in the project, making the unity of the church in diversity a reality.

First of all, a textbook was written and new songs were composed together with musicians who work with children in churches, diaconal and educational institutions. Then came the practical test on the ground: The children sang along with great enthusiasm!

At two-day seminars around the country, workers learn how to teach the children in their congregations about faith through song and how to use the materials they have developed.
