What a special evening as part of the Vesperkirche series at St Luke’s Church in Hanover.
The church was full and a colourful crowd had gathered – people came together to eat, laugh and chat.
Together, they reflected on peace – with inspiring spiritual reflections from Gabriele De Bona (ELM), Regional Bishop Ralf Meister and Cristina Scherer (ELM ecumenical officer from Brazil), as well as improvisational theatre by the Improkokken. The audience’s ideas gave rise to moving, surprising and humorous scenes – entirely unscripted, yet drawn straight from life. The evening was hosted by Anja Lanzenberger from the Vesperkirche and Ingrid Lüdemann (ELM).
A heartfelt thank you goes to all those involved, the many guests and Pastor Matthias Grießhammer, who is in charge of the Vesperkirche and makes this meeting place possible.
