Reception of the mission organisations on the occasion of the Kirchentag 2025 in Hanover

Thursday, 1 May 2025 from 7:30 pm, in the Stiftskirche and the Festsaal of the Stephansstift, Kirchröder Str. 44, Hanover

Dear friends of global ecumenism,

We cordially invite you to the "Reception of the Mission Organisations" on the occasion of the Protestant Church Congress (DEKT) 2025 in Hanover. We will start with a church service in the collegiate church of St Stephen's Abbey. The subsequent reception with international guests, food, drinks and music will take place in the ballroom of the Stephansift.

The evening is bilingual in German and English. Translations will be provided.

Programme:

19:30:
Service in the collegiate church with Soraya Eberle (IECLB), Anne Matthys (ELM), among others

20:30:
Reception with food and drinks in the ballroom, with Bishop Dr Christian Samraj (TELC) and others.

Afterwards there will be a meet and greet. The evening will be accompanied by music from an international youth choir and the Karsten Brudy Trio.

Directions:

Travelling by tram (U-Bahn): From ‘Kröpcke’ or ‘Aegidientor’ line 4 (direction Roderbruch) or line 5 (direction Anderten) to stop ‘Nackenberg’ (10 min.). The entrance to Stephansstift is on the right across the road in the direction of travel.

Travelling by car: Address: Stephansstift Hannover, Kirchröder Str. 44, 30625 Hannover. Car parking is available on the premises.
