Dear companions,

March offers insights from various regions and highlights the connections between the church, worship, and global responsibility. We invite you to engage with people from other continents; with those who are reimagining the church, and with those who draw attention to pressing issues.

The Latin America Study Day clearly demonstrated the diversity of the global church. “Different countries, different churches” means: being amazed, broadening perspectives, and taking inspiration for church life back home. Thabelo Mukhuba, an ELM South-North volunteer, reports on enriching experiences in Germany that build bridges.

In an interview with Dr. Bakry Elmedni about the war in Sudan, the plight becomes clear: “The situation is terrible”—a call for information, compassion, and solidarity.

Our new magazine “Mitmachen” is online, as are several job openings. Read the articles and join us at our events. Together, we can learn from one another, share hope, and take concrete action.

With warm regards,
Ulrich Meyer-Höllings
