Together into the Future – Induction of the ELM Mission Director

Dear faithful companions, dear sisters and brothers in Christ,

Carried by this Pentecostal promise of Christ – that His sending continues today in the peace of God and in the power of the Holy Spirit – we look with gratitude and joyful anticipation toward this year’s celebration of Pentecost.

Within a global, learning community of believers, we seek to foster life in its fullness, peace, justice, and the care of creation worldwide, serving in a spirit of reconciliation. Bound together in Christ and trusting in the love of God, we share our faith and mission across cultures, continents, and contexts.

In this shared calling, the Governing Board has elected Holger Siebert to serve as Director for the coming term. He will be inducted into office on Pentecost Monday, 25 May 2026 by the Chairman of our Governing Board Bishop Ralf Meister.

We warmly invite you to join us in prayer and spiritual fellowship as we celebrate an ecumenical service together with the local congregations in the region beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Lönsstein near Hermannsburg, Germany, asking for God’s Spirit to guide and empower the future ministry of the mission and its church.

Even if distance prevents you from being physically present, we are grateful for our communion in Christ and for your faithful partnership in prayer.
