we warmly welcome Rev. Holger Siebert as the new director of ELM.
He was elected to this position yesterday in a special meeting of the Governing Board, the highest decision-making body of ELM, and is scheduled to take office on November 1, 2025. He has been head of the Department "Faith in Global Perspective" since March 1.

We are very pleased that the ELM will have an experienced pastor and theologian as well as a committed director in Holger Siebert, who combines and promotes ecumenical relations, mission, and global church partnerships. Holger Siebert is not only a theologian, but also a graduate in finance (FH), accompanied by a deep church experience, international partnerships, and a deep conviction of the ONE Church that overcomes boundaries and grows together. We are delighted and look forward to the journey ahead in serving our partner churches and the worldwide community of Christians.

May God's blessing accompany Holger Siebert and all of us - in new tasks, in new places, and in everything that lies ahead of him and us. Thank you for all your support and prayers.
