Dear friends of ELM!

As Evangelical Lutheran Mission in Lower Saxony (ELM), we invite you to join us on a monthly journey through our work with and within the global church.

One important event for us was the International Gender (Summer) Academy, which we organized together with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Malawi in the capital city of Lilongwe. Read about what church leaders around the world associate with the topic of gender and what matters most to them. Through our current fundraising project, you can directly support people in Malawi.

Other topics: ELM Secretary Dr. Joe Lüdemann explains the background of the current protests against migrants in South Africa and how the church is responding. Bishop Zwanini Shabalala, who works in Eswatini among other places, spoke during a visit to Germany about the daily challenges of his work.

Immerse yourself in the work of ELM.

Yours, Ulrich Meyer-Höllings
Head of Department for Public Relations and Fundraising
