At the end of the year, we Christians look at the child in the manger. For us, it symbolises joy and a new beginning in a place where we least expected it. We enter the new year with this hope that many things can be different.
At the same time, in these hopefully joyful and - after the festivities - quiet days, we look back on an eventful anniversary year for the ELM. Another highlight of the anniversary year was the production of three films about some of our refugee-related projects in Ethiopia, Malawi and South Africa. With these media, we want to put the spotlight on people who are struggling to survive - usually away from the spotlight. This brings us full circle to the child in the manger.
