South-North volunteer service in Germany

Would you like to go abroad?

Get to know other cultures, learn a new language, exchange experiences on faith with people of different heritage and collaborate on developmental and social projects?

Then you are warmly invited to do a volunteer service in Germany!

The Evangelical Lutheran Mission in Lower Saxony (ELM) would like to invite you to apply for a voluntary service of 12 months in Germany, starting each year in February. As a successful applicant through your stay in Germany you will enrich the people in the project place, in the congregation, in the partnership and in the ELM.

Together we will share and exchange social, intercultural, developmental and religious experiences.

In which projects can you participate in?

Depending on your interests, abilities and skills you will do your volunteer service in social diaconal organizations e.g. kindergartens or institutions for people with disabilities, or educational centers, or Christian guest houses.

What does a volunteer service in Germany entail?
